Egyptians were the first to practice Plastic Surgery. The "Edwin Smith Papyrus" 3000 BC, contains the earliest descriptions of Plastic Surgery procedures. Indians came second with their Sanskrit texts of Sushruta (600 BC). Indian texts were later translated into Arabic language during the Abbasid Caliphate (750 AD). These Arabic works made their way into Europe via intermediaries.
